Clinical Pilates is a form of exercise commonly used to assist clients in their rehabilitation following an injury or surgery. Clinical Pilates classes are run by a University trained Physiotherapist who will formulate a program that is specific to your needs and ensures optimal recovery from your injury is achieved.
Clinical Pilates is an excellent stepping stone into our standard 4ME Pilates classes for those who are suffering from an injury or illness that has impacted their strength and/or mobility! Clinical Pilates allows us to ensure you can build a strong foundation for long-term movement.
Before you begin your Clinical Pilates sessions, you will have an in-depth assessment with your treating practitioner, who will look at your past medical history and current functional capacity.
During the assessment, the Physiotherapist will work with you to create a program that suits your level, needs and abilities.
A percentage of your Clinical Pilates fee may be covered by your private health insurer. To find out if you’re covered for Clinical Pilates, simply visit our studio and one of our friendly staff members will complete an on-the-spot quote for you!
Class sizes can vary depending on your needs and comfort levels. We offer 1-on-1 and group classes (Up to 6 people). Following your initial appointment, your Physiotherapist will work with you to determine which class arrangement would work best with your goals and comfort levels.
